A documentary-style video captures the Hands Off! rally in Washington, D.C. I shot and edited the piece to highlight the energy of the crowd, the significance of the protest, and the atmosphere on the ground. The project uses montage, sound design, and pacing to communicate urgency and emotion. Note: The current version includes the song “Someday” by Chicago as a temporary placeholder as it was initially created for educational use; a copyright-free track is being substituted for further distribution.

I captured and edited this piece to emphasize atmosphere over narrative, using handheld shots, natural lighting, and rhythmic pacing to evoke a sense of place and mood. The edit explores how visual tone alone can communicate story and emotion without dialogue or narration.

A 5-minute narrative short film developed as part of a student project. I led cinematography, shot composition, and visual tone in collaboration with the director. As producer, I managed pre-production logistics, including scheduling, casting, and set coordination. I also edited the final cut, shaping story pacing and emotional rhythm through color, sound, and continuity.

The final cut emphasizes dialogue pacing and emotional tone, supporting the director’s vision for a stylized, character-driven piece.
